The residential program offers a wide range of educational and social opportunities – leadership, mentoring, community involvement, work readiness, and cultural activities – that strengthen participants both emotionally and socially. These experiences build resilience, belonging, responsibility, and self-confidence, and give every child the chance to grow within a supportive, caring community.

אחת מאבני הייסוד המשמעותיות בכפר היא העבודה המשותפת והקשר הקרוב עם ההורים.
המשמעות שלה:
מעבר לביקורים היום יומיים, אנו מקיימים 4 ימי הורים גדולים ומרוכזים: יום פתיחת שנה הכולל פעילות משפחתית ומפגש הנהלה עם ההורים; יום הורים גדול בחנוכה עם הפעלה חיצונית וארוחות ערב במשפחתונים; יום המוקדש לצפייה בהצגה השנתית בה מציגים החניכים; ואירוע סוף שנה הכולל סדנא בכל משפחתון ופרידה מהורים וצוותים מסיימים.
נושא שנתי
קצת על הפעילות:
בכל שנה אנו בוחרים נושא שנתי. כל משפחתון מקבל חוברת המחולקת לפרקים, ובמהלך ארוחות הערב הם לומדים בהדרגה וכך רוכשים ידע כללי חשוב.
המשמעות שלה:
בסיום הלימוד מתקיים חידון גדול ומאוד אטרקטיבי. הנושא מצוין גם בטיולים מותאמים לאורך השנה.
Village Council
About the activity:
The Village Council gives participants a voice in day-to-day life at the residential program. Each family home elects a representative, and the full council then elects a chairperson. The council meets every two weeks throughout the year to discuss important topics, and representatives also take part in nationwide gatherings.
What it builds:
This gives participants the opportunity to have a voice, influence decisions, and take an active role in village life.
מרוץ לכפר
קצת על הפעילות:
האירוע הגדול של תחילת השנה, שהפך למסורת של שנים רבות. בנות השירות מכינות משחק תחרותי בין המשפחתונים. כל משפחתון מקבל צבע ויוצא לתחרות המבוססת על ריצה, מחשבה, טעמים ויצירתיות.
המשמעות שלה:
היכולת לנצח דורשת שיתוף פעולה מלא של כל הקבוצה, וזוהי המשימה המרכזית שלנו לתחילת שנה: יצירת גאוות יחידה משפחתית וגיבוש.
ZEDEK (Youth Leading Forward)
About the activity:
A nationwide youth movement that operates within the residential program and is based on peer leadership. Older residents in grades 9-12 mentor the younger age groups: every three older teens lead a group (“tribe”) of about 12 younger children. Each Village Shabbat includes a branch roll call, followed by an activity session.
What it builds:
This gives the teen mentors a chance to develop leadership skills, teamwork, and collaboration, while also strengthening initiative, creativity, and a deep sense of belonging within their group. Giving teens this kind of responsibility can have a powerful impact on their personal and social growth.

מדי שנה אנו בוחרים הצגה להפקה עם החניכים. זהו אירוע שיא שכולם מחכים לו, בו כ-40 חניכים עולים לבמה לשיר, לרקוד ולשחק מול כ-300 צופים. זוהי הזדמנות מעצימה, המאפשרת לחניכים להתמודד עם במה גדולה ולגלות את כשרונותיהם מול הוריהם.
המשמעות שלה:
הפקת ההצגה דורשת עבודה קשה, התמדה והשקעה אינסופית של כחודש וחצי חזרות, בליווי בימאית מקצועית, והתוצאה מרשימה.
Mentorship Program
About the activity:
The “Sweet Connections” Mentorship Program pairs older teens (grades 9-12) with younger children (grades 1-6) for one-on-one mentorship. The program runs from Hanukkah through Passover and includes weekly one-on-one meetups, along with about four larger group gatherings.
What it builds:
The goal is to create a warm “older sibling” bond that offers support and provides a positive role model.
תוכנית בר/בת מצווה
קצת על הפעילות:
ילדי הבר/בת מצווה החוגגים בשנה זו מקבלים מעטפת מקיפה של תוכניות המרכיבות את שנתם המיוחדת. מעבר לאירוע חגיגי שהמשפחתון מפיק, הם עוברים תוכנית ערכית.
המשמעות שלה:
התוכנית כוללת יציאה לירושלים עם ההורים, נסיעה לכותל להנחת תפילין, סעודת מצווה וקבלת מתנה מהכפר. בנוסף, הם זוכים לצאת לנסיעה ללונדון יחד עם ילדי בר/בת מצווה מקומיים, תוך יצירת קשרים בינלאומיים.
מסע הישרדות
קצת על הפעילות:
כל משפחתון בוגר בפנימייה עובר מסע הישרדות מאתגר של יומיים בתנאי שטח, עם מדריכה מקצועית. לאורך המסע הקבוצה מתמודדת עם אתגרים פיזיים ומנטליים שונים.
המשמעות שלה:
הניתוק מהמדיה ומהסחות דעת אחרות מאפשר להם חוויה מעצימה, אישית וקבוצתית, בה יגלו החניכים את כוחותיהם ואת המסוגלות הגבוהה שלהם.
A Secure Future
About the activity:
A unique program for participants in grades 11-12, designed to build work-readiness skills early on.
What it builds:
The program follows a step-by-step path to provide comprehensive preparation. It begins with a financial course delivered by Chaim BePlus (a nonprofit), continues with choosing a field of study, and concludes with a professional course tailored to each participant.
Driving Lessons
About the activity:
The program helps cover the cost of driving lessons.
What it builds:
The village encourages participants to build independence, including earning a driver’s license – an important foundation for adult life.
קו לחיים
קצת על הפעילות:
מידי שנה, אנו מזמינים את עמותת “קו לחיים” לקיים שבת חסד ונתינה בכפר שלנו. מגיעים כ-20 חניכים בעלי מוגבלויות עם החונכים שלהם. חניכי הכפר הבוגרים (ט’ ומעלה) בוחרים להישאר ולארח את חברי העמותה. חניכינו הם היוזמים והמארגנים של כל פרטי השבת – החל מבחירת תפריט, עריכת שולחנות והכנת מנות אחרונות, ועד לסידור וארגון המיטות. לאורך השבת, כל חניך בוגר מלווה חניך בעל מוגבלות הצמוד אליו, ודואג לו לכל מה שצריך.
המשמעות שלה:
נרקמים קשרים מדהימים בין בעלי המוגבלויות לחניכי הכפר שנחשפים לאוכלוסייה שונה ומעשירה.
פרויקט חותם
קצת על הפעילות:
מיועדת לחניכי י”ב, ומטרתה לאפשר להם להשאיר את חותמם בכפר רגע לפני סיום הפנימייה.
המשמעות שלה:
הפרויקט הוא חלק מתהליך עיבוד, גיבוש קבוצתי והוקרת תודה. הקבוצה בוחרת פרויקט לשיפוץ בכפר ובכך משאירה “חותם” עם שלט. לדוגמה, בשנים עברו הקימו פינת מנגל חדשה, בנו פרגולה בכניסה לכפר, או הכינו חדר “זמן אישי”.
The Happiness Room Project
“The Happiness Room” is a magical space filled with a variety of gifts for all ages, created to give our birthday children a personal, embracing, and family-like experience. Each month, all the youths celebrating their birthdays are invited to a festive ceremony with the village management, where they enjoy special treats, receive a personal blessing, and enter the room one by one to choose a special gift for themselves. This project was born out of our deep aspiration to give every boy and girl personal attention, a sense of being seen, belonging, and true joy on their special day.
Village Activities & Enrichment
In our village, over ten diverse extracurricular activities are offered, ranging from music, dance, and judo to cycling, navigation, and surfing. These activities are not merely leisure time for the children; they are an integral part of the village’s therapeutic and educational program, enriching their lives, enhancing their abilities, and equipping them with essential tools for life.
Month’s Outstanding Students Program
Each month, we hold a festive ceremony to present certificates of excellence, honoring two youths from each family unit who have demonstrated exceptional progress academically, socially, or behaviorally. During this moving ceremony, the directors of the junior and senior divisions personally present each outstanding student with a certificate, a gift, and a warm note of appreciation, reflecting the counseling staff’s deep recognition of their journey and dedication.
And It Doesn’t End Here…
Throughout the year, additional activities take place as well, including Parent Days, an annual theme that each family home explores and studies, “Race to the Village”- a competition between the family homes, the annual play, a personalized Bar/Bat Mitzvah program for each child, a two-day outdoor survival journey, the “Chotam” project for 12th graders, the “Kav LaChaim” program, and more. These activities give children and teens opportunities to express themselves, gain knowledge and experience, and build confidence for a better future.
