The residential groups at the Talpiot Youth Village operate under a unique family-style group home model, designed to provide every child with a warm, intimate, stable, and family-like environment.
Talpiot Children’s Village is a warm, stable, and supportive home for children and teens who need a supportive, protective, and nurturing framework. In each of its settings – the residential program and the HACHAM Center (Family Support and Strengthening) – the work is grounded in personal attention, human warmth, restoring family connections, and a deep belief that every child deserves a home, a loving bond, and a sense of belonging.
Each family home is home to up to twelve children. Together, they form a small, safe community that enables close relationships and a clear sense of belonging. At the heart of each family home is a married couple who lives with the children and serves as a loving, consistent parental presence – nurturing, supportive, and providing clear boundaries. Supporting them is a permanent educational team of counselors and National Service volunteers who are with the children throughout the day. The support system is completed by a social worker and a broad therapeutic staff, providing professional support alongside ongoing emotional guidance.
The village gives every child a new opportunity to build connections, grow from a place of security, and feel that someone believes in them and their path. The village operates therapeutic residential programs and day centers that provide children and youth with a broad support system, combining emotional care, educational support, and social skills development. The work takes place within a close-knit community where every child is known by name and has trusted adults in their lives – supporting them with love and a steady, reliable presence.
Life in the village is designed to give children a true sense of home: shared meals, holidays, birthdays, and a stable daily routine that creates real belonging. Professional therapeutic care is also provided, tailored to each child – taking into account their inner world, the challenges they face, and their abilities. The therapeutic and educational staff works with deep commitment to building a personal relationship that is steady and trustworthy, forming a foundation for emotional growth and stronger self-worth.
One of the most important principles at Talpiot is strengthening the family connection. Even when there are crises or ongoing estrangement, the village strives to reconnect children with their parents and build bridges of trust and healthy communication. This work is done through meetings, parent guidance, professional support, and ongoing dialogue – all with the goal of strengthening the family’s important role in a child’s life.

HACHAM Centers provide children with an afternoon therapeutic-educational framework that combines emotional support, academic reinforcement, and strengthening of social skills – alongside broad support for parents. The goal is to strengthen the family unit, prevent disconnection, and allow children to remain and grow up at home while receiving professional care.

“Wings for Life” supports Talpiot graduates in their first steps toward independent living.
