HACHAM Centers

Children supported by HACHAM Centers receive personal emotional guidance, strengthened social skills, academic reinforcement, and empowerment programs. Parents also receive broad support, including guidance, parent groups, family therapy, and one-on-one support. The goal is to rebuild and strengthen the connection between the child and home.

HACHAM Centers aim to serve as a strong community anchor – a safe place for both child and parent. The centers create stability, help regulate family stress, and provide tools for healthier day-to-day life at home. They foster an environment that encourages open communication, empathy, and mutual empowerment, helping families rebuild foundations of trust, connection, and healthier functioning.

Each center includes a group of 15 children. Each group is supported by three staff members, a social worker, and a therapist who provides ongoing emotional support. Every child receives individual and group therapy, and a choice of activities. Parents receive parenting guidance or an individualized therapeutic plan. There is close, ongoing coordination with the children’s schools and educators, with the goal of supporting the child academically as well.

The vision of the HACHAM Centers is to strengthen the family – helping it regain stability, function better, and meet the child’s needs, while maintaining a personal bond and love at home.
